End Of Morris Dancing?

According to the BBC News Service; Morris Dancing, one of the oldest forms of British dance, could be on the verge of dying out. One association, the; "Morris Ring", says young people are often too embarrassed to take part.

Get away! I cant understand why?

I'm sure if they had a few drinks first, more younguns would be willing to have a go.

A "few" drinks?

I think even I would need many drinks before I would even contemplate it... and that coming from someone who has made an unholy show of himself in more places and on more occasions than even I care to remember!!

You're right. I underestimated the amount of boos necessary in order to "encourage" people to do the Morris.

Are those bells I hear jangling around between the claps of sticks?

I mean seriously, just look at how unimpressed even the English bystanders are.

Yeah, I just can't see myself doing that. Maybe if they changed up the music a bit, the costumes, and introduced an underlying 'belly dancing' feel to it ... maybe, just maybe. Nah.

Oh wait! If they change out their sticks with pints ... I think someone might save the dance.

Come on, I'm just fishing for ideas here.

Melvin, where in the h-e-double hockey sticks did you even FIND this??? Or dare I ask?
